Safely, Easily Remove Garmin Express in Windows
There are many tools you can easily get on the Internet, the hard part is which to choose. If you have kinda lost your way, take my preparation — a good general-purpose tool that is available in most versions of Windows and works with types of programs:
1. Click the green download button on the page to download & install Max Uninstaller, then run it.
2. In the program list you can see these four bundled programs: ANT Drivers Installer x64, Elevated Installer, Germin Express, and Germin Express Tray. Go with Garmin Express first by selecting it and clicking Run Analysis.
3. Then you can see all the related files listed with details followed, just keep them checked and click Complete Uninstall.
4. Follow the prompts to proceed with the removal, then click Scan Leftovers when you’re able to.
5. Then it’s a list of all the related remaining files with details for you to review, just keep them checked and click Delete Leftovers to fully remove Garmin Express.
To check whether you’ve successfully eliminated the target, click Back to Step1. You will be brought back to the list, where all the currently installed programs on the system are listed. Then you can do the same to delete the rest of the bundled programs and other wanted ones.

Regular Steps to Effectively Remove Garmin Express?
Before you remove Garmin Express, please make sure you’re using the administrator account, otherwise you will be prompted to enter the password for permission of system changes. Then shut down the program and all other related processes (open the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del to do it if it’s necessary), we are starting the removal right away.
Usually I do the removal through Programs and Features, where I can see clearly what programs I’m having on my machine. And this way I wouldn’t bother to check whether there is a default uninstaller displayed in Start menu or anywhere else.
1. Open Programs and Features to remove Garmin Express
> Right-click on the Start button in the bottom-left corner of your screen, and select Programs and Features.
> Locate the Garmin Express item in Uninstall or change a program list (Windows programs manager or Currently install programs list, which should have the option to change, repair or uninstall the program.)
> Double-click Garmin Express to the start the removal.
> Its default uninstaller will be activated with a pop-up window. Click Uninstall to proceed, and wait for it to finish the job.
> When it tells you “The product was successfully uninstalled, blah blah blah…” or something like that, it’s done, and you can go to the next part.
2. Remove Garmin Express via the Windows Registry
Most users skipped this step because they didn’t know how to do it, while this will actually lead to the accumulation of junks. So every time you’re trying to completely delete a program, don’t forget to clean out its entries. Reading this part may also help when you need to deal with another program someday.
> Press and hold Windows key + C to open the charms bar, select Search, type regedit in the search box, and hit the Enter key on your keyboard to open the Registry Editor.
> Then the Registry Editor is now presented with a new window. Delete everything under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\Garmin\
> To search for other possible remaining files, click Edit > Find… on the navigator, and enter “Garmin Express”. Delete the results if found.
> Restart your computer to take effect, and you may check whether the removal has been done successfully.
Somehow by going through the regular way you can’t see its bundled programs, i.e. ANT Drivers Installer x64, Elevated Installer, and Garmin Express Tray, which were mentioned in the content of how to use a recommended utility. So if you prefer an easier, more powerful helper instead of the Windows built-in tool, you can’t miss Max Uninstaller.
