  5. Then I click File menu, scrolling down… then I launch the Exit option on the menu.
  6. Then I close the following "New features in Picasa 3.9 – Picasa and P…" page by Firefox.
  7. Now, I double click Control Panel on Desktop and press the uninstall a program in subsequent Control Panel window.
  8. To automatically uninstall Picasa from Programs and Features, I highlight the unwanted Picasa 3 and press "Uninstall/Change" option for it.

  9. Then I click Uninstall on the following Picasa 3 Uninstall window to proceed with its default removal progress.
  10. If you do not plan to use this Picasa from Google, then to fully uninstall Picasa, you apply the Yes option from the Uninstall window, "Would you like to remove the Picasa database? …".
  11. "Please wait while Picasa 3 is being uninstalled. …’".
  12. Then I close the "Picasa and Picasa Web Albums Help" page, "Thanks for trying Picasa from Google. This software is now uninstalled. …".
  13. Then Picasa 3 Uninstall says that "… Picasa has been uninstalled from your computer. …".
  14. Now I reboot my system and then manually search and remove this Google product’s unwanted data on my computer. What’s more, you can also try to uninstall Picasa using the other method if you cannot detect the previously installed Picasa in the aforementioned programs list and now, please go through the following actions quickly:
    • Find the following Picasa 3 icon on your Desktop.
    • Right click the shortcut file and choose Properties. Then, you click Open File Location.
    • Locate and directly run the following Uninstall application Size: 166 KB (170,773 bytes) to uninstall Picasa from your computer.
    • Click Yes button on the UAC below to go on to uninstall Picasa.
    • After that, you may need to manually delete the empty file folder and other unneeded data to entirely uninstall Picasa in your system.
