How to Uninstall Panda Internet Security 2013/2012

To increase some more resources to your Windows system, please follow the below tips: 1) Log on as system admin; run your Panda IS application; 2) Click on the Gears icon on its right top of user interface; 3) Scroll down the blue menu, then you enter the Preferences… entry on it; 4) In the General tab, please disable the “Enable CPU load management” option for the CPU load management, informing “If necessary, this reduces CPU usage during scans to prevent other tasks from slowing down your computer.”; 5) Click OK; save and restart your computer and then you check it again.

To temporarily rid of those unwanted warning boxes, please enter the Warnings tab in Preferences… again, please check and enable the “Automatically change to gaming/multimedia mode on detecting use of applications running in full screen mode” option for the Gaming/multimedia mode, telling “Panda IS won’t show any warnings on detecting an application running in full screen mode (e.g. a game).”. Advanced Tip for Panda IS 2013 Uninstall

  1. Enter Panda Internet Security 2013 entry on the (All) Programs list again, you then right-click on the Uninstall application in it. Select Properties.
  2. Then you will see the following Uninstall Properties, for 7/Vista friends, please hit the “Open File Location”; and for XP guys, please click the “Find Target…” tab on it. Then you can shut down the Uninstall Properties window.

  4. You can then use administrative rights to run the setup application in it to automatically uninstall Panda Internet Security 2013. What’s more, you know, you can clean any remained files in that directory. Tips & Review: Know Your Newly Installed Cloud Panda IS 2013 Better!

  1. If you haven’t registered or purchased Panda Internet Security 2013, you need to provide the valid activation code for the “Activate my paid version now” option listed on the Panda Internet Security 2013 activation wizard window, shown below. Or… you can use the trial version of Panda Internet Security on your computer.
  2. Note Choose the listed activation options, click the Next > button on the above Panda Internet Security 2013 activatio, telling “Great! You’re about to start enjoying your new antivirus”.

    Note You then need to wait seconds for the above wizard to complete the automatic activation progress.

    Note If you just would have received the above “Generic error… Error code: 0006:0906″ info box, please check your registration e-mail address and/or click on the “0006:0906″ or the “Still not solved” link on the wizard to get more help or tech info.

  3. Click the Gears icon, scroll down the dark blue menu, select the Update option in it to automatically upgrade your current version of Panda Internet Security program.
  4. Note Then the above Panda Internet Security 2013 update wizard will be displayed, you can first hit the Configure updates link on it, review more info on that wizard: “This wizard allows you to update Panda Internet Security 2013 via the Internet. Remember that dozens of new viruses and other threats appear every day. To combat these, it is essential to keep Panda IS 2013 updated, and to do this it is recommended to use the automatic updates services. If you still haven’t configured the data needed to carry out updates, please do it now. To update the product, click on ‘Next’.”.

    Note In the Configure updates window, please check and select the “Enable automatic updates” option – for few advanced users, you can disable the “Notify me when updating automatically” option – for the Automatic updates, informing “Lets you update Panda Internet Security 2013 when you’re connected to the Internet, without interrupting your work.”; moreover, you can also click on the Update now button in that Automatic updates section.

    Note Then Panda Internet Security 2013 update wizard will tell you that “Please wait while the program checks for new updates for Panda IS… Looking for the threat and malicious software signature file / Searching for Panda IS 2013 update. Remember that you need an open connection to Internet in order to carry out the update.”.

    Note Then you will be able to read the final result from the update wizard. Click the Exit on it.

  5. Enter the Antivirus portion, then you…
  6. For Known viruses section:

    • Check and enable Workstation, Email, Instant Messaging and Web browsing option for it, informing “The protection against known threats detects and eliminates viruses, spyware, trojans, dialers and other known threats. … You can specify the types of threats that you want to be detected and those threats that you want to exclude from scans.”
    • For example, I click the Settings… under the Workstation. To enhance my Windows security, I would add the Compressed files option, select the All extensions to/for the Antivirus scan
    • For most Windows users, you apply the Disinfect automatically option for Actions tab, informing “If viruses are found, select the action to take if viruses or other threats are detected. In the event of a virus, if the the file cannot be disinfected it will be moved to the quarantine area.”
    • In the Warnings tab, you can enable the “Show warning if viruses if viruses and other threats are detected” option and you can disable the one “Do not show warnings if malicious cookies are detected” for the On the computer; disable the “Send warning to e-mail address” for the Via e-mail, saying “Configure a warning message to be sent to an e-mail address.”
  7. For Unknown viruses, please check and select “Enable behavioral analysis”, “Enable heuristic scan”, “Move potentially dangerous attachments to quarantine” and “Block the execution of script files”.
  8. For Firewall, for most common Windows users, please use the express or default settings for it like applying the “Enable automatic mode (Automatically set the security level to be applied to new networks to which you connect.)”.
  9. For Identity protection, you could check and apply the express settings for it too, e.g., “Detect transmission of confidential information”, “Enable protection against fraudulent websites – Medium sensitivity (recommended)” and “Detect attempts to dial unauthorized phone numbers”.
  10. And for Vulnerabilities and Anti-spam, please check and ensure that you use the default settings for them at least.
