Ya go to Add or Remove Programs and click the "Set Program Access and Defaults", "A program cofiguration specifies default programs for certain activties, such as Web browsing or sending e-mail, and which programs are accessible from the Start menu, desktop, and other locations.".
For Windows beginners, you can tick the option "Custom"and expand all the content in it.
Then you can choose IE, Nightly and/or other browsers you installed and then, you click OK on Add or Remove Programs.

OR… click Firefox’s title -> choose Options -> click Advanced tab -> launch "Make Firefox the default browser" option in the System Default section and then, click OK.

Furthermore, if you wanna uninstall Google Chrome due to the unwanted app(s) / extension(s) you installed, try the following steps:

Go to Chrome’s installation folder.
Enter the version of folder you’re using like the 26.0.1410.64 below.

Choose the default_apps folder, keep the following items: docs.crx, drive.crx, external_extensions.json, gmail.crx, gmail.crx and youtube.crx. For the others, you’d better take a backup of them and then you use the recommended Admin rights to delete those potentially unwanted apps.

Similarly, you can only keep using the external_extensions.json, and remove others in Extensions. Ya may also go to Extensions in Chrome’s Settings; then you unselect the "Enabled" option or use the "Delete" for any unwanted items in it.

If you’re running a Windows XP SP3 computer, uninstalling Google Chrome is little different:

Hit start button and then go to Control Panel on the menu.

Save your data and shut down related IE windows.

Well, there are some options you can refer to if you wanna troubleshoot the aforesaid ColdFusion issues yourself: 1) Run your Windows in Safe Mode (with Networking) – this may help you stop all the .NET services automatically and effectively – then you try launching the "Uninstall/Change" option in Windows Control Panel to automatically uninstall Adobe ColdFusion, though this standard method is overused, and is not able to help you cleanly remove this Adobe product suite. And, you’d better read on the next option. 2) Once the express un-installation of CF is completed, and, if you are confident enough, you try cleaning up any params relating to the current version of CF ya installed – note that, though, this procedure requires large amounts of time and energy. To stay safe and keep out of system crashing trouble, I would strongly advise taking this most effective path, which is a removal tool for all Windows PUPs – you can now download and save it on your PC by clicking on the link above, then you simply run it to prise out all the traces of CF program on your hard disk.

How can I use Programs and Features to uninstall Adobe ColdFusion?

NOTE Sometimes, this simple fix simply is not enough to help you uninstall Adobe ColdFusion for cases of failure of the standard method I’m going to present below due to the potential misapplications you have on your machine. First, you should use Task Manager to detect and then, you manually terminate relevant processes that are running in background; last but not least, you need to take additional actions to delete remaining folders, clean associated registry hives and more. Thus, WindowsUninstaller.Org kindly recommends launching this professional PUP cleanwipe program to forcibly uninstall Adobe ColdFusion and its requirements I have mentioned – and/or something I had missed as well. Now, you may continue with my personal uninstallation steps that I am taking on a Win8 computer.

Typically, I must do the basic preparation before the official start of uninstalling Adobe ColdFusion:

I first log out of ColdFusion Administrator page.

I close the following "ColdFusion Administrator Login" window.

I run Task Manager and go to Processes tab on it.
To successfully uninstall Adobe ColdFusion, I launch the "End task" for the following linking entries:

Create a backup of the Registry Editor and then I save it on a non-system disk.

Now I double click on the Control Panel and choose the Uninstall a program in it.
Here, you may also check your own Uninstall or change a program list, cuz you need to remove the following applications to completely uninstall Adobe ColdFusion:

Highlighting the Adobe CF 10, I start launching the aforementioned "Uninstall/Change" option to automatically remove it from my Windows.
Few minutes later, the "Uninstall Adobe ColdFusion 10" appears and tells me that "Uninstall Adobe ColdFusion 10. About to uninstall… Adobe ColdFusion 10. This removes features installed by the ColdFusion installer. It does not remove files and folders that you created after the installation.". Then I hit the Uninstall button.

"Please wait, Adobe ColdFusion 10 is being configured for your system. This may take a moment…"

Then, I see the Adobe ColdFusion 10 below says it is "removing Web Server Connectors…"

"Uninstall Adobe ColdFusion 10" then provides me with more details about its uninstallation procedure: "Please wait while InstallAnywhere’s uninstaller removes the following features… Files: LanuchAnywheres; Shortcuts/Links/Aliases; Registry Entries; Other Category; Uninstall files script"

Then "Uninstall Adobe ColdFusion 10" unsurprisingly says "Uninstall Complete. The following items could not be removed: Unable to remove directory: C:\ColdFusion10\cfusion". I click on the Done on it.

And then I refresh Programs and Features after the removal of Adobe ColdFusion. I try using Windows’ Uninstall/Change option to uninstall Adobe ColdFusion 10 .NET Integration Services.
Then Programs and Features informs me that "An error occurred while trying to uninstall Adobe ColdFusion 10 .NET Intergration Services. It has already been uninstalled.". Well, I press the OK on it.

Again, I launch Uninstall/Change for the remaining Adobe ColdFusion 10 Jetty Service. I encounter an information box similar to the one above.

Then I manually reboot my W8 and I start the manual search and deletion of CF leftover data to cleanly remove it on my computer system.

And now, I am continuing to show you way to uninstall Adobe CF 10 via Flexera’s uninstaller application:

Open up your (My) Computer and choose Local Disk (C:).
Enter the following ColdFusion10 file folder.

Go on to double click on the uninstall folder in it.

Scroll through the items saved in uninstall folder and then, right click on the "Uninstall Adobe ColdFusion 10" application in it, launch "Run as administrator". For more details about that uninstaller, read on the info below:

Select Yes from UAC below to allow Windows to run the "Uninstall Adobe ColdFusion 10.exe".

Well, some of you may have been trying to uninstall Funmoods the standard measure – I assume you had used Windows’ "Add/Remove Programs", or "Uninstall or change a program" in Control Panel – and still no joy. BCOS Funmoods is a malware threat (or say riskware), you can’t simply remove it via the way of employing Volonet’s uninstallation utility: you may still be able to find visibility of the remainder Funmoods toolbar and/or Funmoods search. How can I uninstall Funmoods from W8 operating system?

NOTE The following "how to" options contain manual modifyin’ browser settings, Windows filesystem and Registry Editor, so in most cases, you should use this powerful uninstaller – it’s a recommended shortcut that enables yourself to thoroughly uninstall Funmoods by seamlessly digging out the leftovers of the discarded Funmoods and its search.

Option 1: You may try to uninstall Funmoods choosing the Windows Uninstall feature

Note This plan simply isn’t enough to fully uninstall Funmoods in your system.

I first save and close all the browser windows.

I navigate to Control Panel on my display and select Uninstall a program in a new control panel window.
I find the unwanted Funmoods entry on the following Uninstall or change a program list and then, I launch Windows’ Uninstall/Change option to automatically uninstall Funmoods.

Then the following Uninstall informs me that "The uninstallation requires your browsers to be closed during the process. Please make sure your browsers are closed before continuing.". Well, I right click on the taskbar and run Task Manager.

And then I locate the Internet Explorer process below and launch End task for it.

Now, I hit the OK on the aforesaid Uninstall window. Then Update Service warns me that "Uninstall Funmoods update process?", I choose the option Yes to initially uninstall Funmoods.

And now, I can click on the OK on "Update Service" when it tells me "Uninstall completed successfully.".

There are additional actions I need to launch to completely uninstall Funmoods: in essence, I am going to reset Internet Explorer’s "Home page" settings.

Now, you may go on following the steps to fully uninstall Funmoods and accelerate your IE program:

Click on the Gears icon and enter Internet options.

At this point you click Close, OK on Internet Options. Close the currently running IE window and re-open it to check your actions above.

To be frank, I think I’m a bit paranoid that the junk data will clutter up my PC… I wanna obliterate associated digital fingerprints to permanently uninstall Funmoods. Hahah, sorry but, WAIT, I definitely need to make a registry back-up before I manually detect and remove the possibility of the uninstalled Funmoods’ leftover information.

There’s a chance to lose your luck when you finished the steps above, cuz you may find that Funmoods is still active on your computer; and that Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features with no changes! Here, you can follow the other attempt I made below to uninstall Funmoods on your PC. BTW, if you’re a W7, Vista user, Option 2 below requires the administrative rights to complete the procedure of uninstalling Funmoods:

Step 1: Go to (My) Computer.
Step 2: Go to Funmoods’ installation folder – usually, it should be installed on Local Disk (C:) by default.
Step 3: Enter Programs Files or Programs Files (x86); select the following Funmoods folder and press Enter.

Step 4: Depending on the product version of Funmoods you installed, you then should be able to detect a folder by its edition information like the 1.8.11.0 below. Open that folder up -> locate the following uninstall application -> right click on it and choose the listing option "Run as administrator" to uninstall Funmoods on your device.

Step 5: To proceed to uninstall Funmoods, you need to choose the Yes option from the following UAC alert.

Step 5: Please re-check the detailed steps above to complete the express uninstall of Funmoods.

How can I manually remove WhiteSmoke on my machine?

NOTE For most Windows end-users who are new to such riskware, you probably cannot get rid of WhiteSmoke and its bundled applications on your computer, then you may skip the advanced user’s guide below and use this perfect uninstaller to cleanly remove WhiteSmoke.

I use Task Manager to forcibly shut down all the aforementioned instances of Mozilla Firefox and Windows Internet Explorer.
Then I go "Show hidden icons" in Taskbar, I find the running WhiteSmoke application and then I right click on it, I run the option "Shutdown WhiteSmoke" on the menu.

Then, WhiteSmoke tells me that "Closing WhiteSmoke Control panel will disable WhiteSmoke Enrichment! Do you wish to continue? (Option: ) Load WhiteSmoke on startup (What the hell…., well, WhiteSmoke will run while your system starts!)". To quickly remove WhiteSmoke (At least, I wish so), I disable that option and click OK.

Afterwards, I direct open up Control Panel and press Uninstall a program in it.
Then I detect all the associated programs in the list of "Uninstall or change a program":

Search Protect by conduit (Publisher, Conduit; Product version: 1.4.3.7)
Software Version Updater (Product version, 1.1.3.7)

I first remove WhiteSmoke via Windows’ Uninstall/Change option.

The "WhiteSmoke Uninstall" below informs me that "Please wait while WhiteSmoke is being uninstalled. Remove folder: C:\Program Files\WhiteSmoke\".

Then I press the Close button on that window above. Here’s another tip you can use to force remove WhiteSmoke: you add WhiteSmoke’s installation folder to this professional uninstaller; then the uninstall tool will enable you to forcibly remove WhiteSmoke; you don’t have authorization, though.

To fully remove WhiteSmoke, I need to proceed with the express uninstall of WhiteSmoke New Toolbar: I locate it and launch the Uninstall/Change option for it; then I DISABLE the option "Keep current browser setting" and then I click Yes on the following Toolbar Uninstall wizard, "Are you sure you want to uninstall WhiteSmoke New Community Toolbar?".

Soon, my IE 10 runs and visits the following "Thank you for trying the W…" page (URL, http://whitesmokenew.ourtoolbar[dot]com/Uninstall/?toolbarid=CT3289847&version=6.11.2.6); I directly close it this time.

Then I remove the unwanted (Amonetize’s) Software Version Updater to completely remove WhiteSmoke: I highlight it and launch Uninstall for the updater application.

I choose the option Yes from the Updater window below, "Uninstall Software Version Updater?".

To entirely remove WhiteSmoke, I continue use the listing Uninstall/Change option to remove the remaining Search Protect by conduit. Soon, it is deleted without a notification!

Now, it’s time to check and restore my web browser:

I run my Internet Explorer 10, then I go to Search Providers section.
Then I make Bing default engine and then I remove WhiteSmoke New Customized Web Search that get left in it.

To cleanly remove WhiteSmoke, then I need to get rid of its left over files and registry keys; and other items by the uninstalled programs I mentioned above.

How do I manually remove Yahoo! Toolbar from Windows 8?

How do I uninstall GOM Audio?

I first click on the Gear icon and run Exit(X) on the menu.

Then Adobe Application Manager and Adobe Setup (which is running in background) perform my requested actions to automatically uninstall Adobe Photoshop CS6, telling "Preparing for Uninstall…".

Soon, I click Close when Adobe Photoshop CS6 below tells me that "Uninstall Complete. Following applications (PS) have been successfully uninstalled."

Then I close Programs and Features and restart my computer.
I go back to my desktop and I find that the PS’ shortcut file is remaining on it; I manually delete it. I do not want the unwanted components to ruin my computer thus I remove the remaining Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable and Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable – 10.0.40219.

Note If ya are running the PS CS6 on a 64-bit Win7 system, you will need to uninstall Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit) (563 MB) and Adobe Photoshop CS6 (486 MB), "Total Install, 3.3 GB"!

Step 1: You go to Uninstall or change a program and remove the Adobe Photoshop CS6 (2.84 GB) from the list by following the latter onscreen wizards exactly.

Step 2: Ya then manually reboot your computer and re-open Programs and Features and then, you remove the following items to fully uninstall Adobe Photoshop CS6 – you’ve probably noticed that the admin rights would be required to proceed with those operations:
